She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Deal and Phyllis Deal (Briggs); her husbands, Jim Cook and Bill Koegler; her significant other Rich Hoven; and her daughter Kori Deal.

She is survived by: her children, Emily Milliman (Joseph) of Groton, Tammi Hancock (Steven) and Zachary Koegler; her grandchildren, Nathan Milliman, Katherine and Kaidan Hancock; and her sister Jacqueline Deal (Robert Trombino).
