He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Rogers and Emma Page Rogers; and his daughter Lori. He is survived by : his wife Donna Piriano Rogers; his daughter Kim Rogers of Geneva; his grandson Zachory Tournois; and his siblings, William Rogers of Phelps, James Rogers of Newark and Barbara Notebaert of Palmyra. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
