She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hill and Maizie Patchett Beattie; her husband Richard D. Phillips; her son-in-law Chester Chaapel; and her close friend George Nielson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Chaape (Randy Gibeau), Judith, Sheryl, David Phillips (Jan) and Dale Phillips (Mary); her grandsons, Andrew (Melissa) and Christopher (Adrian); her great grandchildren, Savanah, Mason, Maddison, Maddox, Hunter and Gavin; and her brother J. Richard Beattie (Janice Christensen).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home (181 N Main St, Geneva, NY 14456). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Ontario – Yates Hospice or to a charity of one's choice.
