She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hill and Maizie Patchett Beattie; her husband Richard D. Phillips; her son-in-law Chester Chaapel; and her close friend George Nielson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Chaapel (Randy Gibeau), Judith, Sheryl, David Phillips (Jan) and Dale Phillips (Mary); her grandsons, Andrew Phillips (Melissa) and Christopher Phillips (Adrian); her great grandchildren, Savanah, Mason, Maddison, Maddox, Hunter and Gavin; and her brother J. Richard Beattie (Janice Christensen).
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Ontario – Yates Hospice or to a charity of one's choice.
