She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Doody and Doris Doody (Gilligan); her husband Bob; her children, Dennis, Timothy and Kathleen; her grandson Dennis Peters (Dennie); her grandson-in-law Brayden Holmquist; her siblings, Alice Appleton, John Doody and Arthur Doody (Bubby); and her pets, Ginsy, Heidi and Jake.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Peters (Mary Jo), John Peters (Joanie), Teresa Cupelli (Tony), Marianne Williamson (Bruce), Margaret Peters, Matthew Peters and Mary Doris Diehl (Steve); her siblings-in-law, Norma Doody and Ben D'Arduini; and her cousins, Sally Hotchkiss, Bill Betz and Phil Gilligan. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home (45 High St, Geneva, NY 14456). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Stephen's Church (48 Pulteney St, Geneva, NY 14456).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity close to her heart.
