He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Legott and Grace Mangione Legott; his wife Diane; his son Joseph; his sister Joan; and his brother-in-law Charles D'Amico.

He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Jennifer) of Seneca Falls, Nicholas (Christine) of Geneva and Jason of Colorado; his daughter-in-law Joanne Legott of Geneva; his brother Jack Legott of Geneva; his grandchildren, Catherine, Shannon, Marissa, Jacob, Zoe Beth and Leo; and his great grandchildren, Maddison, Levi and Wheeler. He is also survived by step-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Geneva Little League.
