He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McGuire and Catherine McGuire (Kelly); and his brother Thomas McGuire of Toccoa, GA.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra McGuire (Garlock) of Geneva; his children, Kelly McGuire of Washington, DC, Patrick McGuire of Durham, NC and Sean McGuire (Shiori Yodono); his grandsons, Kai and Zen McGuire of Chicago, IL.; his sister Margaret Mary McGuire; his niece Rebecca Angus-Smith; his sister-in-law Patricia McGuire; and his nieces and nephews, Catherine Cotter, Patricia Vollmer, Frank McGuire and Damian McGuire.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home (45 High St, Geneva, NY 14456). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church (48 Pulteney St, Geneva, NY 14456). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vandervort Room in the Scandling Center.
