We bid farewell to Joan C. Liptak of Getzville, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Joan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul M. Liptak; her sisters, Virginia Gurtner (Edwin) and Gloria LoPresti (Thomas); and her parents, Mary Hezel and Herman Hezel.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Liptak (Diane) and Jeffrey Liptak. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (200 St Gregory Ct, Buffalo, NY 14221). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (800 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
