He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; and his children, Veronica (Eversman) and Donald Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Valverde (Cesar); his grandchildren, Nicole Whitties, Brooke Eversman and Christian Valverde (Abigail); and his great grandchild Oliver Whitties.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home (220 Glen St, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Church of St. Patrick (235 Glen St, Glen Cove, NY 11542).
