We bid farewell to Gabriele Groe of Glen Cove, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025. Gabriele touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Alfonsina; his children, Louis (Patricia), Maria (Michael Pascarelli), Salvatore (Victoria) and Josephine (Sal Epifania); his siblings, Josephine Melfi and Adored; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Krystal, Jessica, Ashley, Amanda, Nicholas, Heather, Brian, Sal Jr., Matthew, Gianna and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home (26 Franklin Ave, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Rocco (18 3rd St, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Rood Cemetery.
