It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph D. Burnett of Glen Cove, New York, who passed away on October 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Joseph K. and Nicole; his grandchildren, Aaliyah, Lianna and Anaya; and his siblings, Brigette Burnett-Watson, Derek, Christopher, Tarsha and Michael. He was also cherished by loving nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home (26 Franklin Ave, Glen Cove, NY 11542).
