She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Giovanniello and Palma Zaccheo; her husband Thomas J. Scurti; and her siblings, Christine DiBari, Theodore Giovanniello and Vincent Giovanniello.

She is survived by: her children, John Scurti (Marilu), Frank Scurti and Marianne Migliore (Ralph); her grandchildren, Thomas Scurti, Jack Scurti, Amanda Salemi, Angela Scurti and Anthony Salemi; and her sister Florence Coppola.
