He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Joseph Tumminello (Gina), Frank Tumminello Jr. (Denise) and Jean Tumminello; his grandsons, Michael, Thomas and David; and his siblings, Peter Tumminello and Cecilia Liotta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
