He was predeceased by: his parents, C. O. Oomen and Andamma Oomen of Chakkalamuriyil. He is survived by: his wife Valsamma George of Madappallil House, Thuruthicadu.; and his siblings, Charlie C. Tom, George Joseph, Peter C. George, Sabu Varghese, John C. Tom, George C. Tom, Mathews C., Jacob C. Oomen and Shoba Josh.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Park Funeral Chapels (2175 Jericho Tpke, Garden City Park, NY 11040). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Snows R. C. Church (258-15 80th Ave, Floral Park, NY 11004). A burial was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Melville Cemetery (498 Sweet Hollow Rd, Melville, NY 11747).
