He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Hughes and Evelyn Hughes (Morrow); his brothers, Kevin and Bradley Hughes; and his son-in-law Ryan M. Bladek.
He is survived by: his wife Julie S. Tyo; his children, Jennifer J. Bladek and Michael W. Hughes (Kayla); his grandchildren, Gavin, Collin, Camden, Piper, Gauge, Brody and Mila; and his sisters, Kelly Lane (Mike) of Summerville, SC and Renee Montegue (Rob). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cummings Funeral Service, Inc. (214 Sterling St, Watertown, NY 13601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
