He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lapier and Ethel Lapier (Allen); his wife June M. LaPierre (Smith); and his son Mark Henry VanPelt. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Bauer; his daughter-in-law Jean VanPelt; his grandchildren, Jennifer Riddle (Christopher), John VanPelt (Cally Bartley) and Stephen VanPelt (Lindsay Janes); and his great grandchildren, Emma June Riddle and Mattie VanPelt Paige Riddle.
