She is survived by: her sons, Edward McMurphy of Rotterdam, NY and John McMurphy of Cobleskill, NY; and her grandchildren, Lisa McMurphy, Melissa McMurphy of Oberlin, OH, Elizabeth McMurphy of Rotterdam, NY and Steven McMurphy of Rotterdam, NY..
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's name to the Glendale Nursing Home Activities Department, in appreciation for the kindness and support they provided during her time there.
