He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Groen and Henrietta Groen (Bours); and his wife Jayne Groen. He is survived by: his children, Michele Pabuwal (Aditya) of Somerset and Kevin Groen (Iris) of Westwood; his brothers, Kenneth Groen (Roseann) and Robert Groen (Katherine); and his grandchildren, Arun, Maya and Ella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
