He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Miller and Alice Miller (Knott); his former wife Winifred M. Miller; and his sister May Gibson (Thomas). He is survived by: his wife Marianne Josefiak Miller; his children, Thomas Charles Miller (Suzanne), Keith Miller (Lenny Berman) and Karen Grady (Sean); his grandchildren, Benjamin Miller (Virginia), Dr. Linda Miller (Eric Wood) and Daniel Miller (Emily); his great grandchildren, Andrew Miller, Hailey Miller, Grayson Wood, Oliver Miller, Clara Miller and Henry Miller; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sarah Shaw, Alexis Chainao and Jacob Chainao; his stepchildren, Glenn Josefiak (Mina), Lynn Remson (Sean) and Joanne Oakes (Daniel); and his stepgrandchildren, Rebecca, Brooke Leona Remson, Jackson and Denver Oakes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
