He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert J. Burns and Dolores V. Burns (Mosseau); his wife Jeanne Burns (Buckley); and his siblings, John "Bud" Burns and Patricia Cote.
He is survived by : his sons, Craig A. Burns (Amy L. Burns) of Greenwich and Eric W. Burns (Paul R. Burns) of Fort Edward; his brothers, Edward "Ned" Burns of Melrose and Michael; his sister-in-law Joanne Burns of Troy; his grandchildren, Riley and Kasia Burns; and his nieces and nephews, Michaela, Casey, John, David and Christopher.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Rensselaer County Agricultural and Horticulture Society (Schaghticoke Fair Association), 69 Stillwater Bridge Road, Schaghticoke, NY 12154, or to the Ft.
