He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Kyea and Frances Scofflett Kyea; his wife Kathleen Hunt Kyea; his children, George "Butchie" Badger, Robert Badger and Carol Ann Badger; and his brothers, Alan and Eugene Kyea.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Comitale (Martin), Edward Kyea Jr. (Cindy) and Wayne Badger (Rita); and his sister Carol Ratigan (Richard). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
