He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ball Jr. and Eunice Ball; and his siblings, Janet Jenkins, Lisa Ball and Randolph "Randy" Ball.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Ball (Marcantonio); his daughters, Terri Lin Welcyng (Geoffrey Christian Welcyng), LouAnn Balá (Michael Dean Balá Jr.) and Samantha Lee LaFond (Joshua LaFond); his siblings, Perry Ball and Lanita Buttles; his grandchildren, Meghan Ann Arnold (William Ashby Arnold), Elizabeth Catherine Welcyng, Audrey Lauren Welcyng, Alicia Marie Thompson (Kevin Mathew Thompson), Michael Dean Balá III (Hannah Marie Balá) and Joshua Michael Balá (Audriana Lynn Balá); and his great grandchildren, Augustine Ashby Arnold, Barrett Bradley Thompson, Tori-Lynn Thompson, June Taylor Balá, Levi Weston Balá, Delaney Noelle Balá, Kiernan Gunnar Balá and Reilley Autumn Balá. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
