He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Roethel and Mary Roethel; his wife Gail Roethel; and his son Steven Roethel. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Frances Turnbull of Tampa, FL, Jennifer Roethel of Syracuse, NY and Cara Ross; his son-in-law Rich Ross; and his grandson Alex Turnbull of Towson, MD..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel (7191 E Genesee St, Fayetteville, NY 13066). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (400 Salt Springs St, Fayetteville, NY 13066).
