John Loftus Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Loftus Sr. in Glens Falls, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Loftus and Isabel Loftus (O'Boyle); and his siblings, Patrick Loftus, Elaine Corey and Noreen Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Nilsa Loftus; his children, Edward Loftus Jr., Lisa Sondhof (Axel) and Melody Loftus; his nephew Paul Motta (Kerri); his grandchildren, Jonathon Edward Loftus, Nicolas Robert Loftus, David Patrick Loftus, Isabelle Loftus Sondhof and Ian Edward Sondhof; and his siblings, Kathy Amabile, Julie Stanley, Rita Skobekko, Lawrence "Larry" Loftus (Christine) and Stephen Loftus (Karen).
