Maria Joan DeSimone Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 100, Maria Joan DeSimone of Glens Falls, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Joan DeSimone to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid adieu to Maria's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Maria has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Concetta Brancato (Nicosia) and Antonino Brancato; her husband Arthur DeSimone; and her siblings, Sebastiano Brancato and Vincenza Brancato (Janet).

She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Joyner (late Allen Joyner), Annette Ferretti (Ralph) and Loretta DeSimone. She is also survived by three granddaughters, one grandson, seven great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clements Church (231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
