He was predeceased by : his parents, Adolphus "Jay" Harder and Edith Harder (Harrington); his former life partner Doris Harder (Thompson); and his sisters, Paula "Jean" Perkett, Betty LaRock and Carol Corlew.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Harder of Hudson Falls; his son David Harder of Hudson Falls; his stepchildren, Marybeth Wood (Brian) of Apopka, FL, Doreen Guyette (Tim) of Hudson Falls, Michael Christian of Virginia Beach, VA and Daniel Purner of Cleveland, OH; his grandchildren, Holly of Hudson Falls, Devin of Hudson Falls, Ariel Guyett of Hudson Falls, Steven Wood (Erin) of East Greenbush, Ryan Wood (Rachel Farina) of Clifton Park, Keegan Gorney (Bethany) and Grayce Christian of Virginia; his sister Barbara Skellie of Seminole, FL; and his cousin Roger Harder of Hudson Falls. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association of Northern NY.
