He is survived by: his wife Colleen Jones; his children, Will Townsend (Janet) of Argyle and Hillary Fiske (Nathan) of Hartford; his grandchildren, Nate Townsend Fiske, Audrey Kate Fiske, Celia Nathalie Townsend, Chloe Jones Townsend and Silas David Townsend; his siblings, Peter Townsend (Melissa), Susan Bryer (Arthur) and Linda Townsend; and his sister-in-law Melanie LaPan. He is also survived by his nephew, nieces and cousins.
