He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Tommasone and Martella Tommasone (Esposito); his former wife Irene Sosinski Thomas; his siblings, Mary Corvino, Alexander Thomas, Carmella Damiano, Rose Sarrutto, Jennie Grecco, John Thomas and Marlene Allen; and his brother-in-law Casimir Sosinski.
He is survived by: his wife Anna "Ginger" Thomas; his daughters, Jacqueline Leo (Paul), Deborah McNulty (Mike) and Dawnmarie Thomas; his stepsons, Frank (Shannon), Anthony (Stacy) and Vincent Passaro (Lisa); his grandchildren, Rachel Bievenue (Colin Roy), Paul Leo Jr., Matthew Leo, Jennifer Bievenue (John Gremer), Andrea Leo (Nicolas Earl), Eva McNulty and Hunter Morganstern; and his brother-in-law Richard "Teddy" Sosinski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home (501 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12305). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Adalbert Church (550 Lansing St, Schenectady, NY 12303). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the St. Adalbert's Cemetery (2800 Hamburg St, Schenectady, NY 12303).
