She was predeceased by: her grandson Robbie; her parents, Nicholas Martini and Angela Martini; and her brother Nicholas Martini Jr. (Sarah). She is survived by: her husband Ellis A. Gershon; her sons, Robert Volpe (Lori) and Christopher Volpe (Maria); her grandchildren, Aubrey, Francesca, Christopher and Lorenzo; her stepchildren, Rochelle Runyon (Kenneth), Russell Gershon (Mandy) and Michael Gershon (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Tanya Brader (Brendan), Shaina Runyon, Cyndi Policastro (Anatoly), Keane Runyon, Logan Gershon (Maeghan), Jesse Gershon, Jeffrey Massman and Kara Massman; and her brother-in-law Gary Gershon. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; her cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
