It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marian Gilgore of Glenville, New York, born in Scotia, New York, who passed away on January 4, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. Miles and Margaret Fraser Miles; her brother William; and her sister-in-law Elaine Miles. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chic" Gilgore; her children, Ken Gilgore (Carol), Dana Gilgore (Darlene Harris) and Martha Gilgore (Lonnie Hojnacki); her grandchildren, Kelly, Rob, David, Steve, Phil, Megan, Erica, Amy, Alex and Miranda; her friend Norma Hamm; and her sister-in-law Linda Klopfenstein (Rex). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church of Scotia (224 N Ballston Ave, Scotia, NY 12302).
