She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Savarese and Mary Vezzi Savarese; and her husband Richard Cook. She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa "Cook" Trance (Samuel) and Belinda Steding (Jon Bronk); her sister Matilda Generoso (Vincent); and her grandchildren, Ian Steding (Chloe) and Danielle Steding (Greg). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
