She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sr. Unger and Flora Scribner Unger; and her siblings, Frank Jr., Robert Unger and Margaret Semprevio.

She is survived by: her children, Frank Bowman (Paula), William Bowman (Cheryl) and Barbara Flynn (Doug); her grandchildren, Amanda Bowman, Scott Bowman (Anne), Shannon Leifer (Gabe) and Patrick Flynn (Kelly); and her great grandchildren, Tanner Baker, Avery Iorio, Aiden and Abby Flynn. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
