It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Richard Simmons (Gloversville, New York) is shared. Charles, born on September 9, 1944 in Cobleskill, New York, passed away on May 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Mae Empie and Keith Dewey Simmons; and his sister Gail Lahman. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kat" Simmons; his daughters, Darcy Simmons of Sylva, Diane Willson (Matthew) of Niskayuna and Stephanie Krantz (Doug) of Los Alamos; his stepdaughter April Halcom (Terry) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Chloe, Kaya, Olivia, Myella, Addison, Hudson and Grayson; his stepmother Norma Simmons; and his siblings, Dennis, Timothy and Penny Feuker. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
