He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald; and his grandson Ryan. He is survived by: his fiancée Kathleen M. McBride; his children, Donald J. Rivenberg of Amsterdam, Tracy L. Rivenberg of Schenectady, Lori A. Garcia (Raul) of Amsterdam and Robyn Rivenberg of Amsterdam; his stepdaughter Sherry McCallum (Greg) of Johnstown; his siblings, Herbert Rivenberg, Jr. of Gloversville and Roseann Van Orin (Kevin) of Johnstown; his sister-in-law Anne Rivenberg of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Zach Wooster, Victor Herrera, Raul Garcia, Jr. (Shawna), Joselyn Garcia, Justin Rivenberg (Mikayla) and Laila Rivenberg; his great grandchildren, Alia, Amia Rivenberg, Ioannia and Elian Herrera; his stepgrandchildren, Brandie Loucks (Everett) and Brad Jackson (Monica); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler Gray (Erica), Kyle Dingman (Catherine), Isabella Loucks, Cameron Jackson, I've-Kate McGuire, Marley Murtha, Jaxson Dingman and Wyatt Gray. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
