John Powers Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Powers of Gloversville, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Powers and Ada Powers (Sutton); and his siblings, Earl Powers, Genevieve Sparks, Patricia, Elaine Powers and Betty Ann Robb.

He is survived by: his wife Pam; his son John (Loida); his grandson Ethan; and his siblings, Laura Prew, Bob Powers, Nancy and Kathy Pearson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's or the ASPCA.
