He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Ringler and Anna Ringler (Parker); and his wife Mary Ellen Wager. He is survived by: his close friend Katherine A. Stefka; his daughter Sue Ellen Sofka; his grandchildren, Fred Sofka III and Jessica Sofka; his great grandchild Milania Jade; and his pet Acorn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
