It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion E. Smith of Gloversville, New York, born in Johnstown, New York, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jackson and Mary Jackson (Siets); her husband Donald Smith; and her son Gary Atty. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Atty of Gloversville, NY, Bob Atty (Shannon) of Acworth, GA and Don Smith (Tim Cary) of Albany, NY; and her daughter-in-law Jerene Atty of Gloversville. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Memorial donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
