Robert Crannell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 96, Robert Crannell of Gloversville, New York, born in Broadalbin, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Crannell and Lydia Crannell (Sherman); and his siblings, Richard Crannell, Charles Crannell, Clara Christopher, Dorothea Crannell, Abbey Bennett, Helen Savacchio, Francis Male, Eleanor Cole, Mylia Small and Azubah Manchester.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Smith (Dave), Timothy Crannell, Shelley Crannell, Jeffrey Crannell (JoAnne) and Carol Bruyn; and his stepson Hardy Hoppenworth (Virginia). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mountain Valley Hospice House in Gloversville.
