He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Tyrrell and Kathryn Tyrrell (Flansburg); his wife Elizabeth A. Tyrrell; his daughter Elizabeth Roberta Tyrrell; and his sister Katherine Becker.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Tyrrell (Patricia), Deborah Hoke (Bruce) and Kimberly Tyrrell-Pepper (Andrew); his siblings, Henry Tyrrell and Betsey Gunther; his grandchildren, Melissa Sargalis (Mark), Brittany White (Patrick) and Niall Pepper; and his great grandchildren, Blake Sargalis and Audrina Sargalis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
