He is survived by: his wife Michele Zajicek LaPorta; his daughters, Nicole LaPorta (Ryan Tortorello) of Gloversville and Kellyann Kolbe (Josh Wilson) of Gloversville; his siblings, Michael LaPorta (Dorothy) of Gloversville and Susan LaPorta of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Deana Carey, Kaidlyn, Kynlie, Kane Kolbe and Blake Warner; his sisters-in-law, Ann Marie Black (Bob) of Amsterdam, Lisa Lott of Gloversville, Wendy Noel and Jolene Soliman (Arseen); and his cousin Boston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, the Fulton County Regional SPCA, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
