He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred "Bud" Herman and Mildred Herman (Lane); his father-in-law Hollis Dorr; and his siblings-in-law, Neil Dorr and Kathy Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Dorr Herman; his siblings, Patricia Rylott (Roger) and Bill Herman (Lynda Krens); his mother-in-law Marian Dorr; his siblings-in-law, Bill Dorr (Deirdre) and Susan Dorr; his siblings' children, Alicia Hubbard (Shawn), Laurie Rylott, Sherri Bruce (Clayton Crain), Marian Marchiori (Alan), Sarah Dorr, Christopher Herman (Ann Marie), Patrick Herman, Jonathan Herman, Danny Rylott (Cheryl), Bill Dorr (Jennifer), Patrick Dorr, Kyle Dorr (Sarah) and Andrew Krens; his friends, Kathleen, Kelsey, Reed Walrath, Mike, Nancy and MJ Bentley; and his pet Rosie.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (95 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424).
