It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James A. Bergstresser of Gorham, New York, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Bergstresser and Florence Bergstresser (Stryker); his former wife Alice L. Bergstresser (Decker); his wife Bonnie Bergstresser (Stetzel); and his siblings, Pauline "Polly" Domm, William "Bill" Bergstresser, Donald Bergstresser, Mary Bacon, Robert "Bob" Bergstresser and Kenneth "Skippy" Bergstresser.
He is survived by: his children, Christa Busby (Michael) and Eric Bergstresser (Dawn); his stepson Terry Phillips; his grandchildren, Maryalice, Ella Busby, Owen, Jack Bergstresser, Mark, Eric, Meaghan and Matthew Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred "Millie" Bergstresser and John Stetzel (Peggy). He is also survived by his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
