She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Bailey and Miriam B. Thomas (Noble). She is survived by: her husband Rev. Carlos Smith Sr.; her children, Carlos Smith Jr. (Denahi), Nyoka Smith and Nairobi Smith (Liz); her grandchildren, Diego, Alex, Darin, Scarlet and Micah; her great grandchildren, Lydia and Rex; and her siblings, Josefina Bailey, Felipe Bailey, Tomas Bailey and Denita Andrews. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
