He is survived by : his wife Ida Baltimore; his stepson Kennith Kessler (Kayla); his stepgrandchildren, Jayda, Jenna, Jaxson and Journi; his stepdaughter Alisha Kessler (Yanni); his daughter Tinan (Star); and his siblings, James Jr. (Carol), Marjorie Baltimore, Leona Pawlus, Arlene Freeman and Ester Ramos (Joe). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
