It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Swanwick in Goshen, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl H. Semke and May Buckley Semke; her husband Francis Gerald Swanwick; her sister Joan Semke Dally; her sons-in-law, Dr. Ron Sherman and Alan Wiley; and her friend Joseph R. Donovan.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Sherman-Carrier (Paul Carrier) of Bluffton, S. C., Mary Kay Jankowski (Stanley) of Goshen, Kevin Swanwick (Kathy) of Walden, Patty Swanwick-Wiley (Robert Giaimo) of Goshen and John Swanwick (Laureen) of Belmar, N. J.; her grandchildren, Colleen, Jeremy Hughes, Matthew (Emily), Daniel Jankowski (Cori), Patrick Pierpoint, Griffin Swanwick, Holley Carol and Paulette Swanwick; her great grandchildren, Clara, Louisa, Elliott, Vivian and Amaya Marie; and her friend Anne McBride. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
