He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert VanHaaster and Anna VanHaaster (Kalkers); his wife Kimberly Canterino; his sons, Alexander VanHaaster (Alexandra) and Christopher VanHaaster; his siblings, Rick VanHaaster (Kellie), Lucie Ulrich (Karl), Joanne Kelly (William) and Martin VanHaaster (Lori McBride); his in-laws, Marilyn and Philip Canterino; his brother-in-law Todd Canterino (Monica); and his nieces and nephews, Sonnia Morstatt (Michael), Jacquelene Sisco (Jeffrey), Megan Sherod (Bill), Derrick Ulrich (Kristi), Rachel Bauer (Ryan), Matthew Kelly (Meghan), Alyssa Melendez (Eric), Nicole Kelly (Phil), Kyle VanHaaster, Ava Canterino (Aaron) and Carmen Canterino (Jacob).
