We bid farewell to Ethel Doody of Goshen, New York, born in Avon, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Ethel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Ackerson and Charles Ackerson; her husband Bernard Doody (Bernie); her grandson Sean Patrick; and her sister Roberta Doremus.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Cross (Jason), Scott Doody (Michelle) and Heather Morse (Karel); her grandchildren, Brian Morse, Andrew Cross, Sean Doody, Brianna Morse, Meghan Doody, Kieran Doody, Kayla Cross and Maeve Doody; her siblings, Darlene Rothaupt (Steve) and Charles Ackerson; and her sisters-in-law, Maryann Vanacore (Mike) and Patricia McLaughlin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear family friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ALS United Greater New York, in her name Nanny's Gladiators and Warriors.
