He was predeceased by : his parents, G. Elmer Gregory and Dorothy S. Gregory; his brother David J. Gregory; his nephews, Dale Patrick Miller and Shawn T. Miller; and his niece Tanya A. Phillips.

He is survived by : his siblings, Diane G. (Daniel J. Miller), Marietta Gregory Phillips and Edward S. Gregory (Cathy Todora); his stepson Brian Ferris (Kimberly); and his grandson Ethan Ferris. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, their children and cousins.
