It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan T. Howell of Goshen, New York, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles G. Thew and Pauline Thew (Hoffman); and her husband Dewitt "Garry" Garrett Howell. She is survived by : her daughters, Susan Ambrosino (Douglas Riechel) of Eldred, NY and Diane Randall (Graham); her brother Gordon Thew (Laurie) of Maybrook; her sister-in-law Linda Dross of Goshen; and her grandchildren, Raymond Curry of Myrtle Beach, SC and Alysha Ambrosino of Eldred, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joan's name to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County, 800 Stony Brook Ct, Newburgh, NY 12550 and the First Presbyterian Church, 33 Park Place, Goshen, NY 10924.
