He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zahradnik and Margaret Zahradnik (Hatala); and his sister Sandra Bergman. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his daughters, Erin, Anne, Jennifer and Emily; his grandsons, Jackson, Max and Dexter; and his sister Maureen Ingalls.
