She is survived by: her children, Ava Groo (Greg), Matthew Cazares and Jacklyn Cazares (Liam); her siblings, Charles Eckerson Jr. and Leslie Montanya-Eckerson (Todd); her nieces, Patricia Martinez (Taurie) and Kristen DeLeon (Tanner); her great-nieces, Lisa and Lily; and her granddaughter Valentina (Valley). She is also survived by great aunt, and she treated her nieces as if they were her very own children.
